A group of students worked with Norwich Magazine to produce their first online video, which was this vox-pop based piece on what the people of Norwich think about Christmas in the city. I took responsibility for the editing, as well as most of the camerawork and acted as director whilst out on filming. The staff at the magazine were very pleased with the piece and as a result, I will be working with them to produce a number of other videos about the city in the near future.
This is the very first film I produced as part of my Media Practice course, and remains one of the ones I am most pleased with. I used the Norwich Monopoly board game as the centrepiece, and filmed the players both playing the game at home, and in the locations on the board as they passed through and purchased them. It was a really creative project, and although the way it is put together could have been a little improved with the addition of some special effects, I think the concept is a clever one and I am generally very happy with my camera work and editing.
A profile of the English Whisky Company. Based at Roudham in Norfolk, they are the only single malt whisky company in England. This video provides a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on there.
A music Video for former Norwich band, Apollo 101, filmed about two years ago with BBC Introducing in Norfolk. I edited the film, as well as operating one of the cameras used in the shoot.
An 8-bit animation featuring Monty the Hedgehog. This is the first stop-motion animation I have produced - Monty and friends are created entirely from Hama beads.

SHOWREEL:
The full versions of all the films previewed in this showreel are linked on this page, and also available to view on my Vimeo site, as above. I am experienced in producing and directing my own short films, such as those seen on this page. I have worked alone and with others in producing these films, and am looking for more work in this field. I have acted as director and camera-operator in live and as-live studio shoots both at Epic studios in Norwich, and in the BBC Voices studio in the Forum (Norwich). I currently work as a Broadcast Assistant for BBC Look East, operating the autocue both in the studio and on outside broadcasts. I also man the planning desk from time to time, and will soon be acting as a Programme Assistant, counting the bulletins and ensuring everything happens on time.
